As a 13th generation American, I grew up listening to my grandparents, aunts and uncles tell stories around the campfire. Tall tales, true tales, absurdist yarns (complete with talking raccoons), and uniquely American war stories (Paul Revere is an ancestor) were my inheritance. I studied Art History in college, and went on to work in major contemporary art galleries in London, New York and... Los Angeles, where I discovered my love of filmmaking. I then earned an MFA in Film Directing from the prestigious NYU Graduate Film Program. My thesis film “Crazy Glue” was nominated for the Student Academy Award, was an Official Selection at the Telluride Film Festival, and is currently airing nationally on PBS. Recently I was named a “New Director” to watch by SHOOT.
